Where our facts come from
Refund windows and subscription terms come from the stores’ own help pages, including Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Epic and GOG. Legal points come from the Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. Copyright Office, court decisions and state laws such as California’s AB 2426, and ratings information from the ESRB. Because policies change, each guide tells you where to check the current version. AI tools help us research and draft, and every guide is checked against those sources before it’s published.
What we won’t do
- Link to ROM sites, unofficial key sellers or anything else that helps with piracy.
- Run ads, sponsored posts or affiliate links. No game company or store pays us.
- Ask for your account details. If someone claiming to be us asks for a password or a code, it isn’t us.
