I have drawers filled with makeup bags which i have received as gifts-with-purchase, and none of them seem to truly fit me. I don't have a problem with the rest of my suitcase, but the toiletries give me constant issues.

One of the complications is that it appears as if none of my trips ever require identical packing list, so creating a standard toiletry bag has proved difficult. For instance, should i be spending a weekend in Colorado It's my job to include extra sunscreen and very little makeup. But going to Minnesota for any wedding requires makeup and hair products and all sorts of things. A road trip is another task because I can forgo the 3-1-1 bag altogether and now everything must fit into one bag. Overall, it makes it hard to find the perfect bag for every trip!

I have ultimately decided which i need two, one large and something small. I've been considering Sonia Kashuk bags online but was puzzled by buying them sight unseen. On the recent visit to Target, I found them!

  • For the bigger option, I'm tempted to try the wonder Organizer that has one large compartment, two removable pouches, along with a brush holder in the centre. I think this would work nicely to arrange everything, plus the pouch could most likely function as the 3-1-1 bag and can then fit right in. And it packs flat!
  • For small option, I checked out the Small Train Case with a main compartment, a brush holder in the lid, along with a removable zip bag. The characteristics seem great for organization plus it is comparatively small.

I did consider the Weekender but it just seemed way too big in my needs.
