A large amount of the travel blogs that I tend to read are focused on packing – packing lists, packing light, etc. Here's a fast glance at my top picks:

  • Her Packing List – This web site has many packing lists for particular destinations or kinds of trips. Additionally, it has some good advice for female travelers, including tips especially for women who choose solo travel. A few of the ideas or lists might seem a bit extreme (this woman's description of her trip without luggage isn't for everybody), but you will find tips in all the posts. They have a variety of lists for visiting just about any put on earth even though you might not be up for visiting a few of the some exotic locations, there is a lot good information.
  • Road Warriorette – This writer travels extensively for work mostly, but her posts do cover recreational travel too. The majority of her posts discuss products that make travel easier, so if you're looking for specific recommendations, this is an excellent source. She also talks quite a bit about travel etiquette which I wish more and more people would read! Ways to treat other travelers, tricks on getting through security lines more proficiently, on board comfort tips, and a wide variety of packing tips.
  • Lady Light Travel – Lady Light Travel is primarily centered on how to lessen the bulk and weight of the luggage and its contents. Everything from decanting toiletries into tiny eyedropper bottles and phone lens cases, to exchanging heavy jeans for lightweight jeggings. One of my personal favorite sections is Principles of Light Travel including discussions in regards to a DIY sewing kit and how to lessen the weight of the guidebooks.

There are a lot of excellent travel blogs available, but these are just a few favorites of mine!
