If you are ready to combine up with your hairstyle or color, check out a few of the trends that are appearing with this summer.

Trending Colors

  • If you need to be bold, apparently certainly one of my favorite summer treats is now a trending hair color. Watermelon! The mixture of bright green and vivid pink are one of the most get-noticed hair colors now.
  • If you want to stay professional-looking, it is a look they're calling “flamboyage”, a method that combines ombre and balayage styles to brighten up the look but nonetheless staying within the natural hair hues.
  • If you want to ensure that it stays “real”, they are introducing “nude hair” which is a blend of cool and warm colors so that the overall look winds up being neutral in tone.
  • Other trending colors include snowlights (shimmery white blonde highlights), dusty denim blue, rose gold, and warm buttery blonde.

Trending Styles

  • Super straight locks are back. You're ready to trade that curling iron for that flatiron. Some from the looks are sleek and almost glassy while some were popping up slightly messy but with no waves.
  • If you need to be super-bold, buzz cuts are turning up around the runways too. Discuss your low-maintenance option.
  • Not sure the way i personally feel about that one, however, many of the runways were debuting “choker hair” using the ends of the hair tucked into scarves and chokers.
  • If you've been seeking to add bangs for your hairstyle, the short fringe has returned. The look seems to be messy and less perfect in most of the shows though.
  • For something easy that requires a smaller amount commitment, the “pun” is on. It is really a slightly sloppy mix of ponytail and bun.
