When you travel for vacation, do you tend to forgo your normal makeup routine? I have seen a few of these packing lists that include more makeup for a beach vacation than I wear on the night out in your own home. Not only will i should you prefer a minimalist makeup routine in my daily life, however when I travel, I prefer to put on less. For probably the most part, when I pack, It's my job to just take three basic products.
- A tinted moisturizer with sunscreen as an all-in-one morning product to ensure that I'm able to on with my vacation plans
- A concealer stick just in case of the sudden breakout or if I sleep poorly inside a hotel bed and wake up with dark circles
- A tinted lip balm which in a pinch could help as a blush as well basically need some color in my cheeks
I also would rather have my lashes tinted if I am traveling since it gives my eyes instant definition but I don't have to pack eye shadows remover.
Not only performs this lighten my toiletry bag significantly, it also gives my skin a break from the makeup that I wear every day. Plus, if I am on holiday, I certainly don't want to spend a significant portion of my energy off applying four shades of eyeshadow, eyeliner, and 2 contour powders.
I do admit when I'm going on a trip that will have a 'fancy' occasion or dinner, I will pack more makeup than I normally take. For example, should i be attending a friend's wedding or going on a cruise which will include a minumum of one formal night, I will include an eyeshadow palette and a darker lipstick.
