While airplane travel gets you there quickly, there is something to be said for road trips, particularly with the right companions. My mate and I do car journeys perfectly together, however we've been doing the work in one way or any other for more than twenty-five years. We've learned how to travel together, what works and what doesn't, and that we respect both the conversation and also the silence. This is a quick guide that we put together on top four tips to making fourteen hours pass like silk;

Snacks and Drinks
If you don't intend on stopping frequently, bringing snacks and drinks with you is important. But you also need to pack smartly. No matter what you are traveling with, make sure to take a mixture of healthy and not-so-healthy as well as a mixture of salty and sweet. In the cooler, do include lots of water but also pack other favorites for example sodas or flavoring packets.

Packing List
In addition to the drinks and food, there's also other things that are very handy to bring. A roll each of paper towels and toilet paper can't be emphasized enough. Grocery sacks are available in very handy for dirty shoes, trash, and other things might happen.

Entertainment
While endless conversation can be good, the whole car can usually benefit from other kinds of entertainment too. Certainly one of my aunts reads books out loud while my uncle drives. My best friend and that i have a tendency to sing loudly to show tunes. Many cars nowadays come equipped with DVD players (which only works best for backseat riders please).

Breaking It Up
Be sure to spell the driver and break the trip into multiple days if necessary.

Drive safely!
